On September 23, the first phase of the aerogel industrial base project invested by Zhongke Runzi (Chongqing) Energy Saving Technology Co., LTD., was put into trial operation in Chongqing Hechuan Industrial Park, marking a solid step towards building an aerogel industrial cluster in Hechuan.

Solid material "aerogel" helps industrial upgrading, energy saving and emission reduction

One material, although solid, is very light, and that is aerogel.

Aerogel is a new basic raw material with nanoporous structure, which has broad application prospect in aerospace, military equipment, transportation, building energy conservation, petrochemical and other fields.

Zhongke Runzi Technology Co., LTD., which invested in the construction of aerogel project in Hechuan this time, is a high-tech company of new materials integrating production, learning and research, which focuses on the research and development and application of aerogel nanotechnology. It has more than 20 national invention patents in the field of aerogel application.

"Today, all industries are practicing the concept of 'safety, energy saving and environmental protection', and aerogel products are widely used. We will launch a series of products based on aerogel nano insulation material to provide solutions for industrial upgrading and energy conservation and emission reduction." In half a year, from signing the contract to putting into production

In March this year, Zhongke Runzi Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the Hechuan District government, investing 1.2 billion yuan to build an aerogel industrial base in Hechuan, and will build an engineering technology center by the end of 2021.

After six months of hard work, the first phase of the aerogel industrial base went into trial operation on September 23. This is also the first major aerogel industry project in Chongqing to put into operation.

According to the plan, the project will build an industrial aggregation demonstration area with aerogel as the core material integrating technology research and development, product manufacturing, central testing and marketing.

It is reported that within 5 years after the completion and operation of the project (phase I), it is expected to achieve sales of about 6 billion yuan, tax revenue of about 600 million yuan, and 300 new jobs

Develop aerogel industrial clusters

"Fostering aerogel industrial cluster is a big article for Hechuan District to focus on new materials." The relevant person in charge of hechuan District government introduced that the new material industry is a strategic and basic industry of the national economy. Hechuan District places the new material industry in a prominent position to cultivate and strengthen strategic emerging industries, aiming at the forefront and cultivating industrial ecology.

At present, Zhongke Runze has built an exhibition hall for the application of aerogel products in Hechuan, displaying different application scenarios of aerogel materials, gradually attracting and gathering industrial resources such as R&D and production, and working with Hechuan to build the whole industrial chain of aerogel industry, such as innovation chain, industrial chain, talent chain, policy chain and capital chain.

Hechuan District will focus on the development of new materials industry, take the construction project of aerogel industry base as an opportunity to cultivate several product lines, enterprises and industries, build a new materials industry cluster based on the construction project of aerogel industry base, and lead the development of aerogel industry through the construction of the whole industry chain of aerogel.
